It always amazes me how people can eat 1 cherry, 2 cherries, 10 cherries and then happily stop, without ending up eating the whole 1.5-2 lbs (or as much cherries you bought/picked) at a time. For some reason, I have swallowed literally tons of cherries during the last almost-26 springs and early summers.

The funny thing is that I absolutely HATE everything cherry-flavoured (yogurt, jam, sweets, ice cream, pastries… EW), and even dried cherries and candied cherries make me gag. Omg the waste.

Yet I could eat an entire tree at a time, leaves and all. Maybe it’s genetic, because when my dad was young, he used to swallow them whole, without chewing, pit and all. Lol. TRUE STORY.

(Well, it didn’t help that he was picking them from someone else’s tree and didn’t want to get caught ;P)

Ah well, I should probably join cherry addicted anonymous or something.
